Designated Driver or Wine Tour Driver in Napa and Sonoma

If you have already planned your day and just need a driver to keep you safe, take advantage of our driving service that is currently trending throughout Wine Country. YOU provide the vehicle, WE provide the driver and you save money.

Book a minimum of Six Hours, pay cash and the total is only $365.00. Each additional hour is $30.00. All fees and taxes are included. Only driver gratuity is additional. Compare that to the car companies that charge $80.00 to $130.00 per hour. depending on the size of your party and also charge a fuel fee.

If you are planning a quick takeout lunch stop our driver would be happy to make that stop for you while you relax at a winery. If your party is larger than nine people contact us for a quote.

Personalized Tours

The best Napa Valley and Sonoma Wine Tours involve a personalized experience, stellar recommendations, and a knowledgeable host. If you would prefer that Napa Driving Service plan a great day for you, just pick from one of the Personalized Tours below and your work is done. We do all the planning and make all the reservations.

Historical Tour in Napa and Sonoma

Your customized tour will include three/four wineries each day that helped to put Napa and Sonoma on the wine country map. Each stop will include historic narratives from winery staff.

These may include but are not limited to Robert Mondavi, Grgich Hills, Stags’ Leap, Charles Krug, Chateau Montelena, Domaine Carneros, Beringer, Sterling and Domaine Chandon in Napa. Buena Vista, Sebastiani, St Francis, Kunde Estate, Gloria Ferrer, Benziger, Gundlach Bundshu, and Cline Cellars in Sonoma.

Backroads Tour

The exact opposite of the Historical Tour.

Your customized tour will include three/four wineries each day that are off the beaten path. It’s unlikely you have heard of any of these wineries and even less likely you would have found them on your own. Owner Dennis McClintick has spent twenty of his fifty years in wine country developing relationships with some of the most secret and exclusive wineries in wine country and he can open that door for you. They have small parking lots and huge views. Your host may very well be the owner and/or winemaker. These are the ones you will tell your friends about, not the “Amusement Park Wineries”.

Blended Tour

Like combining several different grape varietals to come up with an amazing blended wine, take a page from each of the tours above. Your customized tour will include wineries from both the Historical Tour and the Back-Roads Tour.

Each Customized Tour is $395.00 for the first six hours and $40.00 for each additional hour. That is the total price for your group, not per person. Tasting fees are a separate transaction at each winery and are not included in our fee.

Your tour is customized for your party, you will not be paired together with strangers! As with all our tours if you are planning a quick takeout lunch stop our driver would be happy to make that stop for you while you relax at a winery.
